Born in 1964 in Madagascar, Luc was quickly drawn to painting and more particularly to the work of Pablo Picasso. He also experiments with other forms of expression that he refuses to prioritize and which feed his creative language. He was a museum curator assistant at the Picasso Museum in Antibes, then decorator and designer in the Laurent Bourgois architectural firm. Today, he expresses himself through various medias : wallpapers, tiles, rugs, gardens and decoration and interior design projects …

His style, according to him indefinable and versatile, is particularly creative and rigorous. He wants to be baroque or pure, but always poetic and making the beautiful part to the high quality craftsmanship. His creations for Diurne are the result of a true alchemy and a demanding collaboration that is part of a real creative and respectful approach to luxury craftsmanship. He mainly works around interior architecture combining artisanal methods and contemporary know-how as well as the design of custom-made furniture, for each of his projects. Raphael notably created the Club Silencio in Paris, in collaboration with David Lynch and he signed the Parisian flagship of the Japanese brand Pas de Calais. He recently completed the Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers as well as “La Laiterie” of the Domaine des Etangs in Massignac.
