Born in 1964 in Madagascar, Luc was quickly drawn to painting and more particularly to the work of Pablo Picasso. He also experiments with other forms of expression that he refuses to prioritize and which feed his creative language. He was a museum curator assistant at the Picasso Museum in Antibes, then decorator and designer in the Laurent Bourgois architectural firm. Studio Diurne is Galerie Diurne’s design studio. Under the artistic direction of Marcel Zelmanovitch, designers from France’s most prestigious textile design schools work daily on the creation of made-to-measure rugs. For each project, the studio creates unique models designed to inhabit a particular space, based on the graphic guidelines provided.In addition to this bespoke work, the Diurne studio draws on the experience acquired through its many collaborations with the great names in interior design, and is nourished by the creativity and culture of its members.
